Prince Harry has sat down with the BBC and, in a candid conversation, discussed his fraught relationship with King Charles. The Duke of Sussex also said the security case has been a "sticking point" for the rifts between himself and his family. In a bombshell interview, the Duke said he had no idea how long King Charles had left to live. He also said he wants "reconciliation" with the rest of the Royal Family, in an emotional interview broadcast after he lost his High Court appeal over his security provision in the UK. The royal added that he was cut off from his father during the interview.

Piers Morgan has since reacted to the interview in a brutal takedown as he fumed both he and Meghan Markle should be "stripped of their royal titles". The Uncensored host, 60, has since taken to X and issued an urgent warning to the monarch as he ripped into the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Sharing a breaking news report by the BBC which read: "Prince Harry tells BBC he would 'love reconciliation' with Royal Family and is 'devastated' at losing legal challenge over his security." Piers tweeted: "My God… this selfish entitled [expletive] is blaming King Charles for their rift and suggesting his father may not have long to live. What a despicable rat."

In a follow up post he wrote: "The King must strip Harry and Meghan of their titles asap.

"They are never going to stop attacking him, the Monarchy, and the Royal Family - all while simultaneously enriching themselves from their royal status. It’s despicable."

During the chat when asked if he felt let down by the UK, Harry said he felt "very let down".

Harry also said the security case has been a "sticking point" for the rifts between himself and his family.

He told the BBC: "Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course they will never forgive me for lots of things, but I would love reconcilation with my family."

He previously argued he wanted his children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, to know their UK heritage, but cannot bring them or, wife Meghan, to his home country as he does not feel it is safe for them without taxpayer-funded police protection.

However, in a ruling handed down this afternoon, Sir Geoffrey Vos, Lord Justice Bean and Lord Justice Edis dismissed Harry’s appeal.

said: “For the time being, it’s impossible for me to take my family back to the UK safely. I will continue on with a life of public service. So I will always support the charities and the people that mean so much to me.

"I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point, and the things that they’re going to miss is, well, everything you know. I love my country I always have done, despite what some people in that country have done. So you know? I miss the UK, I miss parts of the UK.

"Of course I do. And I think that’s it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.”

The Duke of Sussex said he did not ask his father to intervene in his battle over his security arrangements in the UK.

He continued: “I’ve never asked him to intervene. I’ve asked him to step out. I step out of the way and let the experts do their job. The Ravec committee is an expert committee full of professionals plus the royals.”

He added: “Five years later, every single visit that I do back to the UK has to go through the royal household."
