Lily Allen hit 40 today (May 2) - and despite complaining the previous year that "aging is particularly inconvenient", the former songstress was looking sensational in her latest snap. It had been up just an hour by the time social media users had hit the like button more than 33,000 times.

Lily, who has also told of selling "feet pictures" on adult subscription website OnlyFans, rocked a partially see-through vest top with a diamond print on it, and nothing on underneath. She wasn't exactly in her birthday suit but went braless as she paired the risque top with a green skirt. Fans branded her "the most beautiful woman ever to exist", while encouraging her that after her 40th birthday, she could expect life to get better than ever. The singer captioned the post: "Happy Birthday to me." She was inundated with messages by celebrity pals and fans alike who sent her birthday wishes while others commented on her attire. One fan said: "You look amazing diva," while another gushed: "That outfit [fire emoji]." Back in March, Lily revealed she had an "incredible" boob job back the month before and been out buying sexy new lingerie to show it off.

It's been just a few months since Lily announced her separation from her Stranger Things star husband David Harbour, who is 11 years her senior.

She'd married him in Las Vegas less than five years earlier and moved her entire family, including the two daughters she shares with first husband Sam Cooper, to New York so they could be together.

However, last year she alleged he was still using the celeb dating app Raya, where she'd originally met him, and called time on their marriage.

Both seem to be moving on, with David claiming he is going through "spiritual growth" and intense "change" and Lily declaring that she is now "bored of men".

As Express reported last year, she had initially reportedly checked herself into a £8,000 per week "trauma clinic" to heal, while she also confided in close pal Miquita Oliver.

Talking on the pair's joint podcast, she admitted her mental health was "spiralling", adding: "I’m finding it hard to be interested in anything. I’m really not in a good place.

"I came to the Miss Me? Christmas lunch and had a panic attack and had to go home and then I went to see something at the theatre the other night with my friends and I had to leave at half time," she continued.

"I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain I’m going through. It’s really hard."

However, Lily now seems to be overcoming her heartbreak fast and beginning her 40s with a positive mindset, having kicked off her birthday celebrations publicly with a special appearance on BBC Sounds.
