Jeremy Clarkson hit back at a social media troll after sharing a picturesque view from the comfort of his Cotswolds home. The Clarkson's Farm host, 64, reacted to a cheeky jibe over Diddly Squat farm's ownership. The criticism stemmed from a photo he took while in Chipping Norton where he posted a snap of his two dogs Arya and Sansa as they soaked up the sunshine in the Oxfordshire garden as he watched on from the window.
Featured on the Clarkson's Farm account the caption read: "Good morning, what a view." The post swiftly garnered 14,000 likes but while the picture was met with positivity one critic took aim at the Diddly Squat farm owner. The X user commented underneath the picture: "A view only a few hundred million can buy you." The cheeky remark did not go unnoticed by the man in question as he issued a brutal slapdown.
Jeremy replied: "Better do some work then."
After putting the social media user in their place, they soon replied: "Appreciate the peptalk, I feel seen."
The Grand Tour host initially shared the photo via his Instagram account where he was inundated with messages from his 8.9 million followers.
He captioned the post: "The sun’s out and they’re back to securing the perimeter."
A fan gushed: "The DOGS! Can’t wait for the next season of Clarkson Farm, going to be amazing!"
Another agreed: "Absolute gorgeous view," while a third remarked: "What a view they have."
A user messaged: "Beautiful area. I'm jealous."
Jeremy first purchased his Oxfordshire farm in 2008 and began running the day-to-day operations in 2019 when the previous farm manager had retired.
