A car struck several pedestrians on Queen Louise’s Bridge in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, with emergency services scrambled. Police said the incident involved an elderly man who appeared to lose control of his vehicle near Sortedam Dossering.
Five people have been injured, although their conditions have not yet been confirmed. The bridge and the surrounding area remain cordoned off as investigations continue. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the scene while emergency crews remain in place.
A Copenhagen Police statement on X said: "We are heavily present in connection with a traffic accident on Sortedam Dossering, where an elderly man lost control of his car.
"There are reports of five injured.
"Their condition is not yet known."
