The One Show's Alex Jones was compelled to interrupt a guest mid-chat after being prompted by producers to 'move on' from the discussion.
Alex made her return to television alongside co-host Roman Kemp on Monday (28th April), with celebrity guests Elaine Paige, Giovanna Fletcher and Amanda Holden joining them on the BBC One programme.
Elaine spoke about her remarkable career, while Giovanna revealed details about her new podcast, and Amanda updated fans on her two latest TV ventures.
During Amanda's segment, Alex had to interject as she was encouraged to shift the topic before time ran out.
Amanda was talking about her upcoming Netflix series, Cheat: Unfinished Business, in which she collaborates with relationship expert Paul C. Brunson, known for his role on Married At First Sight, reports the Mirror.
Describing the new reality show as an "absolute rollercoaster", Amanda promised Netflix viewers a lot of "chaos".
Despite Alex's interest in hearing more about the show, she informed Amanda: "I've got so many questions, but we are being told 'Move on!'"
Amanda chuckled at the interruption, leading Alex to steer the conversation towards the new BBC game show, The Inner Circle, hosted by Amanda.
"There's a BBC quiz show that you've done...," Alex started, with Amanda humorously responding: "Oh, the quiz show! Oh, it's because it's for the BBC! Who's upstairs asking?!"
Amanda had everyone in stitches when she quipped about her latest venture, revealing some juicy details about the upcoming game show set to hit screens later this year.
"Yes, I've just finished filming. I was thrilled to be asked to do it, because I've never thought about doing anything like that before," Amanda shared excitedly.
She delved into the concept of the show, which delves deep into "human nature" with contestants facing the dilemma of sharing their winnings or keeping them all.
"It's called The Inner Circle. It's a general knowledge quiz. It's a cross between The Weakest Link, Golden Balls, all kinds of shows. Again, it's about human nature because at the end you get a pot of money and you're working with a person. It's about whether you split, or shaft," Amanda explained further.
With a laugh, Amanda then joked: "And it's general knowledge... I'm like, 'Why have you got me to host?!' but, I wore some fabulous frocks!"
The One Show airs on weekdays on BBC One at 7pm
