Located in East Suffolk district, the coastal spot has also been named as one of the best in the UK. This is according to Camping and Caravanning Club, who deemed the coastal spot as being the UK’s finest seaside town.

The town's location on the Suffolk Coast and its lovely beach close to the River Blyth, all adds to its dreamy holiday feel. 

Sun worshipers will be in for a treat at the town's picturesque sandy beach, which is also a Blue Flag award.

Southwold Beach is a must visit and is an ideal place for cycling and walking with colourful beach huts scattered throughout.

There's a relaxing 3-mile trail to Walberswick that's a must for all outdoor lovers and a picturesque promenade which invokes that quintessential British holiday nostalgia. 

Take a leisurely spring stroll along the Southwold Pier, and you’ll be met with delicious food, impressive shopping and of course, breathtaking sea views.

Southwold is also famed for being a vibrant market town including having a number of inviting and welcoming restaurants and cafes.
