The devastated brother of Virginia Giuffre has shared a poignant final photograph of the sex trafficking survivor who tragically took her own life.

As one of the most vocal accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, Ms Giuffre alleged that she was trafficked to Prince Andrew at the age of 17 - a claim vehemently denied by the Duke of York. In a heartfelt statement, her grieving relatives hailed her as "a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse" following her passing at her farm in Neergabby, Western Australia.

Her brother, Danny Wilson, shared a touching final image of Ms Giuffre, depicting her sitting alongside him and another man, believed to be her older brother Sky. Danny had earlier spoken to NBC News, revealing that she "pushed so hard to snuff the evil out" of the world, driven by her conviction that "Her biggest push was, 'If I don't do this, nobody's going to do it. She was in real physical pain - suffered from renal failure. But I think the mental pain was worse."

He also disclosed that she endured both physical agony, suffering from renal failure, and profound mental anguish.

In a statement, the family expressed their overwhelming grief: "It is with utterly broken hearts we announce Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

"Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight."

The mother of three and vocal campaigner, Ms Giuffre, alleged she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew through Epstein's associate, incarcerated British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, when she was just 17. Both the Duke of York and Maxwell, who now holds the title of convicted sex offender, have denied these claims.

From Sacramento, California, Ms Giuffre emerged as one of the first individuals calling for legal action against Epstein. Her efforts and crucial input to law enforcement notably contributed to the investigation and subsequent conviction of Maxwell.

Her publicist, Dini von Mueffling, paid tribute stating: "Deeply loving, wise and funny, she was a beacon to other survivors and victims. She adored her children and many animals."

She also mentioned, "She was always more concerned with me than with herself. I will miss her beyond words. It was the privilege of a lifetime to represent her."

In August 2019, during his incarceration on sex trafficking charges, Epstein, aged 66, committed suicide in a New York jail. The notorious sex offender, whom authorities believe had over 200 victims, was discovered lifeless in his cell at the Manhattan detention center.
