Jason Statham, who's famed for his action thriller movies, doesn't travel by half measures - and his helicopter journeys can make his real life look like a scene from a James Bond film. However, locals are becoming increasingly frustrated by his noisy landings in a field close to his home.

The sounds from the chopper have reportedly terrified horses at a nearby riding school. A 35-year-old mum-of-one recently spoke to the Mail to express her fears, warning: "If a horse bolts with a six-year-old on it, it won’t be pretty." Speaking of one occasion where two were spooked, she explained: "After landing, the pilot ran across the field to say sorry. It looked like he was really apologetic and made an effort to make sure everyone was OK."

The following day, however, it happened again - and although the pilot is said to have made extra effort to avoid the riding school, some are still not happy.

A dad-of-two living at a property which backs onto the field complained of "frequent" noise pollution and implied he was at the end of his tether.

"It’s been quite frequent. It flies low over our houses and it’s very loud. It’s not something we appreciate. I won’t be happy if it becomes a regular occurrence," he warned.

"There’s a reason we chose to live far out from Heathrow or City airports. It’s not great, especially with people working from home and elderly people living here."

It comes just four years after Jason and Rosie returned to the UK with their two children, seven-year-old son Jack and three-year-old daughter Isabella.

Hollywood actor Jason had been living and working in LA for over a decade, but since their return, he and Rosie have spent £15 million on a luxury property portfolio consisting of three London homes.

Rosie told the Telegraph of her relief at escaping the paparazzi attention in the US, which would see her pursued down the road by five cars every time they made a small trip, such as to the gym.

She also revealed: "Since becoming a mother, I have found a growing desire to be close to my roots. I'm very proud to be British and I think the UK is a really special place to raise a family."

However, while the couple have escaped a Hollywood lifestyle, they might now have to appease angry locals who don't want a Hollywood lifestyle brought to them.

Express has approached representatives for the couple for comments.
