Prince Andrew was welcomed into the Royal Family fold this Easter holiday, but his relationship with King Charles and Prince William is far from rosy, claims an insider. On Sunday, the Duke of York was spotted walking into church at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, for the Easter service alongside King Charles and wider members of the Royal Family.

It comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales decided to skip the gathering to extend their break in Norfolk, having just returned from a family skiing holiday, to spend more time with their family.

William is understood to be reluctant to spend time with Andrew, 65, at any family gatherings, according to an insider. As reported in the Mirror, a royal source said: "William has no time for his uncle. This Easter was about spending time with his own family, but he would far prefer a situation where he doesn't have to spend time with him."

Andrew has become embroiled in a series of scandals, including reaching an out-of-court settlement worth £12million with Virginia Giuffre, a former 'sex slave' of late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's who accused the royal of sexually assaulting her on three occasions in 2001.

The settlement, reached in February 2022, was made without any admission of liability and Andrew has consistently and vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Last year, Andrew was identified as having an "unusual degree of trust" with Yang Tengbo, a Chinese businessman banned from entering Britain over alleged connections to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

It is not known precisely when the duke and Mr Yang met, but Andrew previously released a statement saying the pair met through "official channels". The businessman also previously stated the allegations against him are "entirely unfounded".

But, the controversy forced Andrew to miss the 2024 traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham.

As reported in the Mirror, a senior royal source said: "The Duke seems to be in the habit of being a significant contributor of headaches for the family and many have run out of patience with him."

On Easter Sunday, Prince Andrew was joined by his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and his two daughters. Princess Eugenie walked beside her husband Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie, who recently gave birth prematurely in January, was joined by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Duke and Duchess of York were the last to leave the church service, with Fergie smiling and waving to the cameras.
