Harvey Price holds a cherished spot in Peter Andre's heart after he became his step-father following his romance with Katie Price in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. In a previous interview , Peter looked back fondly on his years with Harvey after marrying Katie in 2005, reminiscing about the pandemonium of "changing six sets of nappies," a reference to his active role during Harvey's younger years.

When Peter wed Katie in 2005, he pledged to be the father figure that Harvey lacked. In 2009, he told the Daily Mail: "I have been a real father of Harvey and he calls me Daddy. I guess that sticks in Dwight's throat.", reports the Mirror. As the years rolled by, Peter would share birthday greetings for Harvey online, penning on his 15th birthday on Twitter: "Happy birthday to a very special boy. Hope you like your prezzies."

After splitting from Katie, Pete expressed his enduring affection for Harvey, writing in his 2017 New! magazine column: "There have been a few times recently where he's been to my house and I've been to his. Harvey will always be special to me and I just want him to be happy. He's a great kid!" He continued: "He's such a good-hearted boy, I see him a bit more now, which is amazing. He's just the best, I love him. There's always room for Harvey at our house. I always saw him as my own. There's a special place in my heart for him - he's very important to me and he's always welcome."

However, according to Katie's 2017 book, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, as time passed, Pete's interactions with Harvey became less frequent. Katie wrote: "The split from Pete really upset Harvey. It must have been frustrating for him at the time because he couldn't express how he felt. But now he can and he remembers a lot more than you'd think. It's really sad."

She observed a change in Harvey's behavior, noting that when she mentioned visiting "I began to notice a change in Harvey, I'd say things like, 'Do you want to go see Daddy Peter today?' and he'd shout, 'No!' So then I'd be like, 'But he has a cake waiting for you'. But he wasn't interested and he'd start kicking off, it's probably because the visits were starting to fizzle out and Harvey could sense that."

Harvey would refuse, possibly sensing that the visits were becoming less frequent. However, she confessed: "Whenever Harvey saw Peter, he wanted to play a clip of the couple singing A Whole New World. Every single time, I want the ground to swallow me up. It's bad enough having to listen back to it, never mind haven't to listen back to it standing next to Pete!".

This follows Katie's emotional revelation about her eldest son, Harvey, whose weight has escalated to perilous levels. Harvey has faced numerous health challenges throughout his life, including Prader-Willi syndrome, a condition that triggers an insatiable appetite.

The OnlyFans star expressed her distress on Snapchat, stating: "I'm so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone.

"It's so life-threatening now, I'm still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life."

She added: "It's so sad his quality of life at the moment where he's so big, he just can't really do much. It's just another thing I have to deal with because he's at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I'm going to help him through this."
