David Beckham has seemingly ignited rumours of a family rift after sharing photos from his star-studded birthday celebrations. The beloved athlete celebrated his milestone 50th birthday with a black tie theme, surrounded by his famous friends and family.

However, his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, was noticeably absent from the festivities and is said to be at loggerheads with his younger brother Romeo, 22. The speculated rift comes after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, who usually divide their time between the US and the UK, have missed a number of key family events. Romeo, who is in a relationship with Kim Turnbull, 23, appears to be at the centre of the reported feud. Insiders told TMZ that this discord grew from a past fling Brooklyn allegedly had with Kim. The outlet claimed hat Brooklyn had a romantic connection with Kim in the past, but a source downplayed this, saying "that's all water under the bridge." Instead, the issue is said to lie with Brooklyn and Nicola questioning whether Kim has the right intentions in dating Romeo.

In the Instagram carousel, David shared a heartwarming photo alongside his wife Victoria, daughter Harper Seven,13, his sons and their respective girlfriends.

Romeo posed with Kim, while Cruz, 19, was all-smiles alongside a mystery brunette.

Taking to the caption, the former footballer penned: “So I thought I'd start celebrating slightly early, such a special night in Miami.

This comes as a significant change as past family posts when Brooklyn unable to attend, David would still add him to the caption.

Back in September 2024, the 26-year-old was missing from Victoria’s fashion show, and after posting a family photo celebrating her collection, David penned: “Love you all can't wait to see you @brooklynpeltzbeckham & @nicolaannepeltzbeckham.”

Their son’s absence was also noticed by fans as one questioned: “Where is Brooklyn? And you didn’t mention his name in the hashtags below, strange.”

Another echoed: “I was looking for that comment bc I was asking myself the same thing..” As a third speculated: “I just feel like after he got married, his wife just took him far from them.”

It appears there's upheaval in the Beckham household, with reports indicating Brooklyn and Romeo are amidst a serious squabble, leading to a silence between them. The rift could spell unrest for the Beckham bunch, which includes dad David, iconic former Three Lions skipper, mum Victoria of Spice Girls fame, along with two other siblings: Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper Seven, 13, reports the Mirror.

However, he noticeably left out Brooklyn and Nicola from the tags, leaving fans perplexed. The tension after Brooklyn's anniversary was publicly ignored by his parents. Brooklyn marked his third anniversary with Nicola earlier this month. However, his famous parents did not publicly acknowledge the occasion, fuelling rumours of a family rift.

This alleged feud comes three years after speculation first surfaced about a strained relationship between Nicola and Victoria.

Insiders previously suggested Brooklyn had become somewhat estranged from his family, and hadn't spoken to them "in months". Nicola later revealed that she had planned to wear a Victoria Beckham gown for the wedding, but it didn't work out. Talking to Variety, Nicola said: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that."

Nicola later told The Sunday Times in a somewhat cryptic manner, "no family is perfect" but strove to reiterate that any talk of a feud was overblown, commenting: "It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud'! I don't pay attention to all of it... if I did, I would go crazy."
