Former President Joe Biden gave his first public speech since leaving office on Tuesday - and had a 'meltdown' live on stage.

Biden, who was mocked for his bedtime, appeared at the Advocates, Counselors, and Representatives (ACRD) for the Disabled conference on Tuesday, where he started off speaking softly about implementing protection acts under his term.

But then he randomly started shouting, waking up all the crying liberals in the audience, in a bizarre moment.

"Back in 1990, I was the cosponsor of the Americans Disabilities Act as a United States Senator. It was one of the most consequential civil rights laws in American history," Biden said.

He later shouted: SIMPLE DIGNITY, everyone, everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. Regardless of economics, regardless of who they are..."

Trump supports have claimed that Biden's impassioned remarks and loudness were once again due to his mental decline.

"Joe Biden is having a meltdown. Not sure what he is talking about since as usual he makes zero sense," one person wrote on X.

Another added: "Wtf is Joe Biden rambling about rn in Chicago dems are really bulking this old man rn. This is elder abuse. YIKES."

Some people defended Biden's heated words about the Disabilities Act. "It's so good to hear him again, full of fire and calling out liars," a user said.

Another echoed: "The man that brought true competence and dignity to the Presidency. Miss him a lot right now!"

The 82-year-old Democrat, who left office on Jan 20, has largely stayed out of the limelight until now.

Biden's appearance comes as Democrats are attempting to regroup following significant losses in the 2024 elections, while President Trump continues to criticize his predecessor three months after returning to office.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt took a shot at the former president’s age when asked about his speech earlier in the day.

“I’m shocked that he is speaking at nighttime,” Leavitt said during Tuesday’s White House press briefing. “I thought his bedtime was much earlier than his speech tonight.”
