In a shocking incident, a woman was apprehended while dragging her boyfriend's body into a grassy area after she allegedly castrated and stabbed him to death for raping her 12 year old daughter.
Erica Pereira da Silveira, aged 43, was caught by horrified neighbours as she attempted to burn the remains of Everton Amaro da Silva, 47, in shrubland located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, on April 11. The neighbours immediately alerted the authorities, who arrived at the scene to discover the victim's body still ablaze among the bushes.
A bloody trail led them back to the apartment of Pereira da Silveira, where she promptly admitted to her heinous actions and even presented the knife used to dismember him after drugging him. She claimed to have been driven to rage upon returning home to find Amaro da Silva in bed with her young daughter.
The chief police investigator, Franz Cesarino, informed local media: "He had been in the house, in the room with the suspect's daughter in a situation that appeared to be rape. It's hard to tell exactly what happened because they were all either high on drugs or alcohol. The victim's body has been sent to the institute of forensic medicine for examination."
Following Pereira da Silveira's arrest, authorities confiscated a knife, a wooden club, an iron bar, and her mobile phone. She now faces charges of qualified homicide, as the victim was slain while under the influence of drugs and unable to defend himself, reports the Mirror.
Additionally, the police are on the lookout for a 17 year old male suspected of assisting Pereira da Silveira in disposing of her boyfriend's corpse. In a grisly crime that has shocked the public, 65 year old Josefa Lima de Sousa from Brazil has been detained after admitting to the murder of a man in Peruíbe, São Paulo, in which she not only killed him but also severed his penis. Reports surfaced last month that Sousa may have taken the gruesome step of incorporating the dismembered organ into a soup, according to local authorities.
Police investigators are probing allegations that Sousa distributed this horrifying concoction to other unsuspecting homeless individuals in the area. It is believed that she prepared a meal with both the penis and parts of the victim's heart before offering it to passersby on the day of the murder. Homeless witnesses reported consuming the meal, unaware of its macabre ingredients, to the Civil Police.
The deceased, Celso Marques Ferreira, was discovered with multiple stab wounds along with signage nearby casting accusations of sex crimes. While no definite connections to such crimes have been established, Sousa, who is also without a home, claimed she executed Ferreira using "the power of her mind" and later consumed pieces of his organs. Sousa further alleged to the police that Ferreira had engaged in child sexual abuse. The G1 news outlet reported that those homeless individuals who approached the authorities did not know what they were eating when they ingested the soup.
Whilst the assertion about the incorporation of human organs in the soup remains unconfirmed by the police, Sousa and her accomplice, 41 year old Robson Aparecido de Oliveira, were arrested on March 7. The police announced that they possess compelling evidence linking Sousa to the barbaric act.
