Prince Louis, who attends Lambrook School in Berkshire with his brother and sister, will soon be able to choose whether to spend a few nights a week sleeping over as the school offers weekly and flexi-boarding for boys and girls from age 7 to 13.
Lambrook's website explains that 75% of the Prep School takes advantage of the offer to board in some way, and, while it is not known if the Wales children opt to stay over and spend extra evenings with their friends, there is plenty on offer if they do.
The website details: "All boarders, whether weekly, flexible or occasional, are fully integrated into boarding life and are part of a home from home family environment where they eat, work and to relax together...
"In the summer months at Lambrook, swimming, cricket, golf and other outdoor games are played by all our boarders well into the evening. In the winter, indoor ball games, cooking and baking, movie nights, bonfire evenings and other such activities ensure that there is never a dull moment!"
Prince Louis was born at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington on 23 April, 2018 and spent his earliest years living with his family at Apartment 1A of Kensington Palace.
The young royal has quickly built up a reputation for his cheeky and fun behaviour which he has showcased at events such as Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee and King Charles' Coronation.
His parents, too, have joked about his boisterous nature. When the Princess of Wales was introduced as the new patron of the Rugby Football Union, she revealed how much her three children enjoy playing rugby. She then joked about her fears for Louis when he gets older, saying: “They’re all enjoying it, Louis is kamikaze, we’re worrying about when he gets older, he’ll be in the middle of everything.”
