TV presenter Piers Morgan has lived in the US on and off for the past 17 years and is currently at his lavish £4.2million property in star-studded Beverly Hills, California, with his family.
The proud dad of four revealed he's making the most of his time away from the UK by enjoying some quality time with his youngest son, Albert, 25. Sharing a video with his 2.2 million Instagram followers, he wrote: "I didn’t think anything could make me happier than Arsenal’s glory last night.. until I just beat my insufferably cocky youngest son at table tennis. I’m calling this celebration dance the Ping-Pong-Paso-Doble."
Piers, 60, shares sons Spencer, 31, Stanley, 27, and Albert, 25, with his ex-wife Marion Shalloe. In June 2010, he married journalist Celia Walden and they welcomed Elise, 13, in November 2011.
Following up on his gloating video of sporting triumph, Piers revealed he and Albert, who goes by Bertie, had gone to swanky eatery The Ivy for lunch. He captioned the snap of the two of them: "Beverly Hills Pop! Lovely dinner with No3 son, to ease his pain from losing at table tennis. If you’re ever in LA, there are few nicer spots for a meal than the patio at the Ivy."
Many of his followers were quick to offer words of praise and support; one user couldn't help but comment on whether or not his kids relied on him for money. They wrote: "All of your sons must love traveling the world on your dime. Any of them actually have a job?" Proud dad Piers clearly wasn't about to let that comment slide as he shot back, "they all have very good jobs, yes."
Piers often shares photos and updates about his children on social media, praising their successes. His eldest, Spencer, is a sports journalist who has built up an impressive following on social media. Middle son Stanley is a talented actor who recently starred in The Serpent Queen alongside Samantha Morton. It's not clear exactly what his youngest son Bertie is up to at the moment as his Instagram is private, but Piers proudly revealed last year that he had graduated with a first-class degree from Bristol University in Politics and International Relations. He wrote: "Great achievement by a great lad who worked incredibly hard."
Piers' post comes just hours after he launched one of his most scathing commentaries on Prince Harry’s ongoing legal saga, dubbing him an “entitled little p***k”. The 60-year-old talking head slammed the beleaguered prince after sharing an article titled “Prince Harry claims he was ‘singled out for inferior treatment’ after losing taxpayer-funded UK security as he arrives at London court.” Not holding back, he captioned the post: “Does this entitled little p***k EVER stop whining?
Prince Harry, often the focus of Morgan’s ire, has claimed he is being "singled out for inferior treatment" as he fights to regain his taxpayer-funded security in the UK. The Duke of Sussex, 40, was at London’s High Court on Tuesday (April 8) for the commencement of a two-day appeal, aiming to secure publicly funded security for himself and his family. During the court proceedings, Harry's attorney, Shaheed Fatima KC, argued that the former working royal was subjected to "different, unjustified and inferior treatment."
