Prince Harry made headlines yesterday as he was spotted in the UK for the first time in over six months. The Duke of Sussex, 40, had flown to the UK from his home in California to attend a court hearing appeal into the Home Office's decision to take away his taxpayer-funded security when he returns to his home country - something the duke claims is stopping him from bringing his wife and children to the UK.
Despite being in the country over the last few days, it was revealed by the Daily Mail that Harry, who quit royal life in 2020, had missed his close friend Charles Vivian's wedding. Lord Vivian, who wed Saweda Kamara over the weekend in London, told The Daily Mail he didn't know why Harry, who was invited, did not attend, saying "he has a lot on". But the 'main reason' for Harry missing his friend's wedding has seemingly being revealed, with Richard Eden writing for the outlet: "A source close to the duke has since got in touch to say 'the main reason' for his absence was that 'security wasn't provided for the visit, which makes attending events or moving around the UK very challenging'."
