The first episode of Meghan Markle's podcast is set to be released as King Charles and Queen Camilla embark on the second day of their state visit to Italy and the Vatican. Meghan, 43, previously revealed that she will release the first episode of her new podcast series, titled Confessions of a Female Founder, on April 8.
The podcast will be released with Lemonada Media, with Meghan having previously signed with them in early 2024.
The King, 76, and Queen, 77, will travel to Italy on April 7 and stay until April 10. According to Buckingham Palace, the first part of the visit will focus on the Vatican and the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year.

Taking to her Instagram account earlier this month, Meghan wrote: "I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: “Confessions of a Female Founder,” my new podcast with @lemonadamedia!
"I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever.
"It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?) First episode is April 8th!"
On their own Instagram account, Lemonada Media - who also shared, like Meghan, the same picture of her in a bright blue sheer top - shared their own excitement over the pending release.
They wrote that the podcast "invites you to be a fly on the wall as Meghan sits down for candid conversations with female founders and friends about the success, the struggles, and the never-before-told stories of building a business."
Confessions of a Female Founder will be Meghan's second attempt at a podcast. Meghan - who now resides in California with Prince Harry and their two children - released Archetypes back in 2022.
