Parts of Britain are likely to experience eight days of non-stop sunshine, as the latest BBC weather forecast suggests temperatures soaring to 21C in some major cities. According to the forecast, sunny conditions are likely to dominate many cities in the southern part of the country between April 4 and 10.

The Met Office has also suggested that warmer conditions are likely to start settling in the UK starting Friday. According to the BBC weather forecast, cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Plymouth, Cardiff, and Southampton may see sunny days for eight stright days. Temperature levels may soar to 21C in Birmingham and Southampton, the weather charts have suggested.

As seen in the forecast, London, Manchester, and Plymouth may see high temperatures of 19C on Friday, while other days may see mercury levels hovering between 15-17C.

Netweather.tv meteorologist Nick Finnis wrote in his weather blog: "Little change next week - high pressure looks to continue to dominate our weather throughout, so mostly fine and settled.

"Warm in the sunshine sheltered from the cool breeze - which will be strongest towards North Sea coasts. Perhaps some low cloud at times towards the east and northeast.

"Highest temperatures look to be towards the west, with the breeze from the east early in the week, before turning more northeasterly or northerly later in the week - as high pressure migrates westwards. Despite the pleasantly warm days, chilly overnight, with a risk of ground frost in places with clear skies."

Generally fine and settled over the weekend and into next week with warm sunshine. Some low cloud possible across the northeast at times. Still breezy in the southwest. Cooling down.

The Met Office’s long-range forecast between April 8 and 17 reads: "High pressure should prevail for most of the outlook period, maintaining largely settled conditions for much of the time. This should result in lengthy spells of dry and bright weather. It will be breezy at times, especially in the southwest at first.

"Daytime temperatures will depend on the wind direction and cloud amounts, but most places will be warm for most of the period, and very warm days most likely will be further inland.

"Overnight frosts are possible on clear nights where winds fall light. There is also the chance of some areas of low cloud or fog, notably around the east coast. Towards the middle of April, the weather may turn more unsettled as rain or showers try to push in from the west."
